I have recipes blog and its very slow at loading due to the database holding around 55,000 recipes, i was told that installing wp-cache may help server load and increase the loading time but i have a problem when i install the plug-in.

i get this error and don't really know what to do

    advanced-cache.php link does not exist
    Create it by executing:
    ln -s /home/recipe/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache-phase1.php /home/recipe/public_html/wp-content/advanced-cache.php
    in your server

can anyone give me a simple "how to" guide to fix it?

    Refer to
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=643663

More over check to deactivate gzip compression from
    Go to Dashboard
    Option>Reading>uncheck "last option"

If this doesn't overwrite your old pluging
then repeat the process above before activating the plugin
