    I am not sure why I have to fetch it at all, as other posts are already indexed...
    Either google overlooked it, or maybe sitemap did not update when post was made...
    I would like to think sooner or later it would have indexed, however it has been 3 days since post was made.

    Thanks for the tip, I was using a spider plugin, however, it is
    long outdated now, and i have not really tried to find a replacement...

    You probably got penalized by pinging it too many times.

    Google uses rankbrain now, I would imagine pinging a link over and over again would raise some red flags.

    lol, the only way you can know if it's crawled is if you check the server logs to see if googlebot has visited. If the link is on somebody else's website you won't have access to that info. Hell, I'm not even sure I have access to it on my sites. I haven't waded into them in years.

    So your problem isn't so much that they're not being crawled, and probably not even that they're not being indexed, it's that they're not turning up in the SERPS?

    As Matthew Sayle said, Fetch them in your Google Webmaster Tools. If that doesn't work, Google probably has a problem with some of your stuff.

    And by the way, people should not use their Google+ profile simply to add links. Google is not that naive to allow your profile to become a link farm. However, if the link is to a legitimate article that you have written, then post that linked article in your Google+ profile. I do this with many of my new articles, and they are typically indexed and showing in the SERPs within minutes. But don't spam your Google+ page!
