Hello guys I bought an unmanaged VPS server in hostv.com.
I bought that vps server for 2 years. But my problem is I'm new to unmanaged vps.
I'm already hosting my website in their shared hosting. I asked them to help me to move my files to my vps server. But they told me that they can't help me. Because mine is unmanaged vps. So looks like i'm on my own. So guys please help me.
I need the following things in my server.
    1. php
    2. mysql + phpmyadmin
    3. cron jobs
    4. domain management software
And i don't know what are the things i need exactly since i'm new.
So guys please suggest me some websites, resources, tutorials where i get help to do it myself.
    Thanks

You can purchase there managed solution for just $10 more, even you will get free cpanel & that will be help for you.

If you want cpanel, PM me details, I will install cpanel or any other control panel for you.

I would recommend a high end shared hosting solution, this way you dont need to worry about security in and around your vps.

No one will do this for free. There are plenty of tutorials online that will show you how.

I suggest installing a free web control panel on your vps, Webmin and EHCP are pretty good.

Mmm... no one will do for free... actually I love to do this also for hobby and for free... but what about the specs of the VPS? People talk about cPanel and other control panel that suck a lot of memory...

So, why don't you post your VPS specs?

You should not buy vps for 2 years before you are familiar with whm. You should start from share hosting, reseller hosting and then vps.
First of all you should have to hire a person to mange vps. After that learn everything and manage yourself.ok
