    Yes You can Promote products from google affiliate network , They are having good conversion rate there is no such effect on adsense you can read there Help files for these

    Good suggestion, I may consider adding a google affiliate account to see if that increase my earnings...Has anyone tried this and measured the results?

    Yes it will have effect on your Google Adsense account, but the effect is going to be positive. It can earn you more money.
