    Hey guys,

Here is my situation, my grandfather is a country singer and used to have a record deal many years ago. My dad takes the records and gets everything proffesionally done to put them on cd's. Now whenever my Grandfather plays plays for charity or whatever it may be, he'll sell 50 cd's all in one go. So people will buy them, probably more in the senior age range.

We were just wondering whats the best way to go about selling them or getting the word out on the internet about them. I dont know if using adwords and building a website with a store selling the cd's would work. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it and will stumble or digg with reviews for any of your websites if that helps ya out. Thanks.

Maybe you can use eBay "http://www.ebay.com" if you not familiar with web development and online marketing....

Jeez, there are so many ways, I'd be here for an hour.

    1. Tape him and put it on YouTube.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjnilzmjyG0&feature=PlayList&p=1CA2501125AFEA21&index=12

Her username is baysabellabrave and she is now a star at YouTube. Literally!

    2. Take same video and send them to sites that may be interested. Just like submitting articles.
    2. Tell his listeners on his videos, and at charities, or wherever to spread the word about his site. ... Hand out his cards.
    3. Car door magnets displaying his picture and a brief description.
    4. Have him write articles and quick tips on how to be a singer, how to buy the right guitar, how to not freeze up in front of an audience.... Put his URL at the bottom, and send those suckers out. This may very well do good on Fark and Digg. But send ONLY one article per week!
    5. Work the music stores, both off and online. Barter. If they show his site in their store, he will show their store's name in his site.
    6. Tape a video of him giving free lessons, and advertise it, and or put it on YouTube and other sites. Have a series of short videos.
    7. Look for news plugs.
    8. Sell them on Amazon and BarnesAndNoble.com. All he has to do is fill out an online form.

There are also a couple of threads on 65 tips and 100 tips that have been copied and pasted from other sources all over the Net, but most of them aren't realistic, feasible, but they are still worth reading. You've probably seen the two threads.

yeah..this is the best way to get your target market right away..

anyway,if you can make it unique I think it's really good. For example..set up a blog for that topic and maybe a singing lesson or maybe a review or just a sample of your singing..and then publish it..get a lots of traffic by submitting videos through free video sites..I know there a lot of listeners out there want to hear that if the songs are really good to hear..just make it unique..that's all:D
