hi guys.im really putting a effort everyday to making just a few clickbank sales but with no gain. I was hoping that anyone can give me a good guide on how to make a few sales. Any help is appriciated
What kind of effort are you currently putting in? Knowing what you are currently doing will help others point you in the right direction...
Hey man, how long have you been in all this? It will take you a few months to get the hang of things.
I was making about 2-3 sales a month as well, for the first 8 months of IM. In the last month I make about 70-100$ daily. If I had to pinpoint the reason why I was making so little before, I would have to say: 1. Promoting a single product, and not testing other products to see how they convert - that's probably the main one. 2. Making domain landing pages, instead of web 2.0 ones - I used to spend a week on designing a landing page website. Now I create one in about 10 minutes on hubpages/squidoo and all of them convert 10 times better than any of my previous ones hosted on a domain. Plus I don't pay for hosting. 3. Focusing my article marketing on low traffic/low competition keywords - doesn't work(at least for me)
Promotion means nothing if you have no idea who your customer is and what they want. Marketing is about customer behaviors. Figure out what people want, then give it to them. What do you know about your customer? Would you "Sell" Ice Cream in the winter from a roadside stand? Maybe that's an analogy of what you are doing because until you understand your intended customer you are just going through the motions. This might seem "harsh" but it's not. It's how you make money. You don't make money by "going through the motions". A real live person on the other end has to WANT or NEED your offer and convince themselves to buy it.
How many articles are you writing each day? Are you direct linking or sending to a landing page? It may be that you just need to increase your efforts...
^^ It could be what Crafty mentioned. Or it could even be the niches that you're attempting to promote. With particular niches there are certain seasons in which they perform well. There are other niches that do well all around. Really give each niche thought before jumping into them. Think about who would buy it, why they would buy it, and what those people would want to know about the product before purchasing it. If you don't know the niche well enough to be able to come up with at least 3 reasons why the product would help satisfy a need or solve a problem, either research it or drop it entirely. If you can't figure out a good selling point for any particular product, chances are that you'll never be able to warm anyone up to it to lead them into buying. Also, what exactly is your definition of article/video marketing? If you're just writing articles and submitting them to article directories, you need to learn a bit more about what article marketing really is. The same applies to videos. You don't just create content, submit it to a directory or YouTube, wait and expect the sales to start rolling in. You have to guide people to your content. If you're not social bookmarking or pinging your articles, you should read up on it. Are you building backlinks to your articles? If so, are they quality backlinks? There are so many variables that could be throwing you off track and causing you to fail at affiliate marketing. Take the time to reply with a detailed description of what you're doing. There are a ton of people here on the DP forums that will give you useless advice and steer you in the wrong direction. This is because most of them have yet to see much success just like yourself. But the select few that have been pulling in an actual income with affiliate marketing may take the time to respond to you if you write out what your action plan is. Don't just post "I need help making sales". There are so many of these threads made every other day that they often get overlooked. Let us know what it is that you're doing and we may be able to help you a lot more. Don't get discouraged, keep trucking along. You'll figure it out. And we may be able to give you guidance that will help get you up and going faster. -Brad
