Can anyone Give Gurantee of PR?

    Hello all DP friends,

    I visited the buy and sell section and came across lots of post where guys are selling link on PR 5, 6, 7 website. Interesting thing is that they are selling on the basis of duration. My question is direct related to this.

    If some body buy a link for lets say 1year on high PR site will the owner of the website give guarantee that the PR would remain same for the duration of 1 year. As its quite obvious that Google update its PR usually after every 3 months. There is a big certainty that the website loose its PR. In that case, can buyer ask for the refund or some portion of his payment back as the website lost its PR.

    Now we can turn the table, if the website gain its PR should the link seller have the right to ask for extra money to the link buyer?

    Please express your thoughts on this.... :)

    IMO, you close a deal for a fixed period of time and both parties have to stick to the agreement no matter what.

    you can answer your own question by using your brain, instead of typing.

    To wit - PR depends on an independent 3rd party (i.e. Google).

    How then can any other site 'guarantee' PR? They can't "force" google to give them pagerank, can they?

    Still confused?

    if you've been given a guarantee, you need to look at the terms of it.

    BTW, buying links specifically to manipulate PR is a no-no as far as google is concerned.

    Of course nobody can give a gurantee. Why would you want to buy a link anyway - there is absolutely no need to!

    Check and request the pagerank history, so to check if its stable or not.

    I think there is no absoultely to buy link with one year, these time , many website's PR up to 4 only spend two month without buy any high PR

    None can guarantee for PR. It depends on your site structure and backlinking

    I don't think anyone can do it positively but if they own high page rank sites then they can probably get close and hit the correct PR most of the time.

    So if they own a decent PR6 site they can give you a link back from there and guarantee a PR4 for you and it will work most of the time if you are not penalized from Google.
