We have recently started a new site http://legit-onlinejobs.com and installed a simple phpbb3 forum on this domain day before y'day. We have placed its url in some other sites/blogs etc.

Today when we Googled the url of the site with double quotes ( " " ), we were not able to locate the main site in Google results. Surprisingly, some of its url, which we had placed on other sites have been indexed and are showing in Google search results.

Can somebody explain this phenomenon? Also let us know does this meant that the site is indexed ? We would like to beilive so !

    Pls comment.

    Thanks,
    Majaal

Update : the above site has started to generate some traffic and has an alxea of under 3 M at the moment. However. ll this traffic comes from referral sites and this does not includes a single visitor from Google. So, it seems that the site is still un indexed by them.

We have just found out that this url has been recently banned/penalized by Google. This is probably because of the activities related prior to the purchase of this domain.

What we would like to know is that how to let Google know that this is a different site with a different management, so that Google accepts it as a fresh start and gives green signal to it. We would like the domain to be indexed by them.

    Pls advice.
