Hi.... I'm really new in adsense, i've made my first website and i've put adsense's ads in there. Yesterday, I've checked my adsense account and i've found that my eCPM > 0 even without having a click, my earnings are zero but my eCPM is > 0. I read about eCPM and google says this is how much have you made for each 1000 impressions... Well, i think if nobody has clicked my adsense banners i can have millions of impressions but my eCPM should be zero but it doesn't. My eCPM shows some cents but i think it should be zero, when google says that i don't have clicks nor earnings. I saw that in my account twice. How can my eCPM be more than zero even without having a single click. Can it happen even having an invalid click?? Thx in advance. Reinaldo. P.S.: Sorry for my english, i know it isn't very good.
Yes, my eCPM is greater than zero even without having a single click... Sorry for my english. Reinaldo.
Just clicks can give me earnings... If i don't have any earnings, how can my eCPM be greater than zero if i dont have earnings since eCPM = USD(made) / impressions(thousands). Reinaldo.
lets say your eCPM is showing $1.00 and total nos of visitor is 4. That means your total earning is 0.004. Since it's very small amount so in stats it's showing 0. This is what guess, I may be wrong.
Thank you, but i dont know what do you mean as "visitor", if they are my visitor (just impressions) or they have made click (clicks)... If they clicks on my banners, ok, i would have any earnings and ok, my eCPM is greater than zero and no problem, but see this stats: Impressions: 50 , Clicks:0 , CTR: 0% , eCPM: 0.19USD , earnings:0... How can it be possible? Reinaldo.
Thank you, that's what i mean... And, my earnings = 0, but my eCPM is some cents... I think it doesn't have any sense. Reinaldo.
You can also say this: earning=(eCPM X Impression)/1000 So, your total earning=(0.19*50)=$0.0095 ~ $0
Yeah, i though that too but well, it's almost zero anyway but i don't know why my eCPM is not zero if everything else is zero. Thx anyway. Reinaldo.
