Do you mean a HDFC credit card? I'm an Indian PayPal acc. holder and had verified my account using an HDFC "International" Credit card. They asked me to swipe online and I was charged $1.95 (which was later refunded to me) - this generated a 4-digit code which appeared in my credit card bank statement. Of course, I had to wait for at least 15 days to get that number.
NO, not credit card but virtual credit card generated using HDFC netsafe service offered to HDFC account & debit card holders
I've not even heard of it but that's because I restrict my credit card transactions online to only what is necessary. I think HDFC netsafe is as good as the original credit card you shouldn't be having any problems in registering with a virtual credit card. The 4-digit number will appear instantly in your case (to be seen in the online account)
First time I heard something like that.. Can you give some link to it to the HDFC site or somthing similar...
you could have googled yourself, anyway here it is http://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/payments/netsafe.htm
Yes I think it can be used to verify paypal. Its the same Paypal Verify thing that many people are selling in B/S/T section
No man.. The paypal sends a verification code and there is no facility available with netsafe to receive that billing statement. So you have to find genuine cards to verify on paypal.
I think when you use netsafe, the generated code will appear in your bank statement. I've shopped using netsafe many times, and all transactions appear in the bank statement, just like you would get when you use a credit card. So, I believe you can use netsafe to verify paypal. There are many people in this forum selling netsafe cards to verify paypal. That proves it can be done.
