Can anyone edit this mp3?

    I have an mp3 that is 7mb. I need it down to 1mb, so can someone here please divide it into 7 1mb parts?

    Let me know. :eek:

    Yep, that's the way I was going to do it too. Just cut the song into 7 equal sized parts. Then just mute the other 6 while you extract them 1 by 1. In your case, though, you probably won't want to use the fade out feature.

    If you knew what you were doing, it would take under 5 minutes. Also, audacity is free. Use it from now on, and never pay anything. Saves you the time of having to uninstall the trial program after 30 days when you realize you don't want to pay for it.

    Need to lower the KBPS eh? Do you have Acid Pro (software :p) too bad I don't have it on my mac..

    I have an older version of Sonic Foundry (now Sony)'s Sound Forge, and I know how to use it. If you need it done to where either the KBS is lowered, or just cut up, let me know... also if you're just looking to split the file up into segments to be reassembled I can do that too.
