Ok i am looking for some to atleast add this mod, http://www.phpbb.com/mods/automod/ to my newly installed phpbb 3.0.5 forum. I am pretty sure i can take it from there but i might also need some more work done if i can not figure out how to add mod's from there. How much does this this type of install usually go for and is anyone interested ? I pay by paypal or i can offer a free offshore webhosting package (worth the install for 1 year) Let me know please.
Automod is useless, in true phpBB fashion they've taken something that should be simple (and is simple on every other BB software) - and made it difficult. Best bet when it comes to MOD installation on phpBB3 is manual install, this is literally uploading a few files and then copy / pasting chunks of code into various parts of phpBB's file system. For a better explanation on manual MOD installation check out this post I made a while back. Not really sure if this is the right place to be discussing this, but I can offer MOD isntallation for $8 per hour.
