Can anyone create a press release php script like this: http://www.i-newswire.com On getafreelancer people are saying they could make a script like this within 7 days: http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/PHP-Script-Installation/Press-release-script-needed.html I have also read some people could just modify an article script(if the article script allowed it). I want people to submit press releases for FREE and i'd want as much adsense ads as google would allow. I'd also want to be able to setup the script so it worked with "google's news inclusion" settings so when people submit the press release it'll show up in google news. It'd just be a basic script. i don't want it to support images or have members that signup,or have a paid option.i'd want it to have rss though and a nice looking template and h1 and h2 tags, the adsense ads to display relevant ads to the press release so if the press release was about cars the,the adsense ads will shows ads about cars. I'd want people to submit their press releases by them writing it in boxes like this: http://www.i-newswire.com/submit_featured.php (apart from the payment box,and release date(all releases will be immediate release) Then i'd like the script to have an online admin panel where i approve the press releases. The latest press releases will be display on the front page and there will also be categories. I wouldn't pay more than US$30 for the script.
Posting with "immediate release" will get you into trouble. If I'm not mistaken, i-newswire is actually the distribution site that got into some trouble a while back over that, and banned from Google News I believe (not sure if they're back in). You'll need it to put things in waiting to be approved by an editor of some kind if you plan on sticking around in Google news for long.
anyone? What if i purchased the already made article script from here: http://www.articlescript.org/ and then someone could modify it?
With what you're asking for, you may not even really need any modifications since it sounds like you're just looking to have free submissions. You can do that with article or even blog scripts without much in the way of alterations. That's why you don't see these scripts around... there are already tools that are adequate enough to do it.
