    Hi,

Is there anyone on here offering web design/logo type services ( under $100) through a network? If so can you me me some idea of how many jobs one could expect per day/week by using affilates?

I realise that it is a question of " how long is a piece of string " however some idea of what is achievable would be a great help.

    Rgds - JB

Very broad question yes, but some insight:

I wouldn't whore my talents like that - As a fellow media whore, one's babysitting session(s) per client and job are random and unpredictable at best. Juggling 20 jobs a week with small tasks per client will drive you nuts and your creativity may suffer (good problem to have perhap$). Once done, you'll have to pay out your affiliates, and with sticking to -$100 you'll only be able to offer a small portion of your margin.

You could do lead generation however that would also be fickle when trying to monetize unpredictable timelines and services needed per lead. If you have preset packages, and the customer pre-pays for them in advance of design/execution of tasks, you could even go through CB/PDC... Affiliates like to see money upfront and a niche $ per sale (or many small $ per lead). Offering 75% is not uncommon, but not for services - rather for premade product. So even offering 50% of $100 a logo x 20 logos a week, would seem possible along with various other upsells/monetization strategies once you have those buyers leads.

Monetizing your talent on small ticket custom per client items is hard mate, tried it for over 12 years. Also tried chasing tier-1's for a while, succeeded in both but you'll learn to hate dealing with people eventually trust me. Don't whore yourself for too cheap. Perhaps take a look at elance.com or guru.com for some more insight, you'll have to compete with your fellow designer however it's easy to pick up jobs for $500 - $2000 in there with a good portfolio and communication skills.

**Realistically - to answer your question directly, you could get 5 or 500 a week. One big email blast from a good aff could give you hundreds of jobs in a day, there is a lot that goes into your aff recruitment and which network you choose, how you setup your program/commissions etc. be prepared for anything.

I would agree with NCMedia working freelance for 5+ years. It's a kind of pain. I think interwebs is more for products, then for services. It's tough to sell a service (which actually takes your time) over inet. Moreover market matured now and it's next to impossible now. But for "under $100" there is always a market:) However it's most competitive, this clients probably don't have money for next day food if you consider their behavior:)

Thanks guys for the quick response. Sorry, I should have been more specific in relation to the figure quoted in my posting. I am really only talking about Logo desgn for that figure and not designing a website

    Thanks - JB
