How fast can you solve one? I started learning a couple weeks ago just because I was interested and wanted to, it's not that hard actually. I can only get it in about 3 minutes, but my goal is under a minute. I doubt I'll have the time to do that though. I'm a loser, but I'm not that big of a loser, lol.
One of the kids at my school can do it hands behind his back without looking under 1 minute...dont ask me how lol he said as long as he sees it initially, he can switch it from front to his back and do it.
I used to play with a Rubik's cube back in the 80's... oh boy, showing my age. I used to be able to solve it back then.. took me a while though, not sure if I could or would want to now.
I've only ever solved it once and it took about 3 hours! I might try and get back to it one day - it's a nice show-off skill to have.
I can only beat it if I peel the stickers off and switch them all around. My friend can beat it in under a minute. His teacher taught him. Scary stuff.
once you get the forumula down it supposed to really come easily, but you need to figure out the formula. which I am unable to do, can't see it
Yeah it's just memorizing a few things here and there. You have to have a semi-good memory...like with the solution I use, I have to memorize about 6 algos that look like so : R2U'FB'R2F'BU'R2.
Exactly I can solve it if I'm allowed to remove the stickers of the cubes and place them back the way they should be
Someone made a rubix cube solver out of lego's and the "mindstorm" thing ... pretty cool... Lets see if I can find the video... Ah, here we are... http://youtube.com/watch?v=jC3cihl4t-0
You can search for solutions for it if you were really lazy XD I saw this guy solve one, one handed, in less than a minute, it was fantastic
I can do the first two layers in under three minutes....but third takes a while. Third is always the most difficult. Here are the world records for Rubik's cube.
