Read this thread. It is very informative. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=457865 Good Luck
Dont think that dude was very successful coz he hasn't made any updates for a while, I think he didnt research enough on his niches and by the sounds of things just made articles on anything he could find
Yes I think that is true bummaketing can be very successful I haven't put much effort into article marketing as I have been working on other things but I wrote around 5 articles which has brought me in about $2200 so don't give up on bummaketing remember its about quality not quantity. Quality being your articles and the people your selling to as well as the product you are selling.
yeah some people will tell you quantity - but it is actually about quality. The best articles will cover a huge depth of topics, so when people come in, they'll be wrapped up throughout the article - which means better converting sales for you! If you put out a junk article, then people will subconciously say "This guy sucks. they have no idea what they're talking about - they can't possibly making money" You actually hurt your website with crappy articles
I'm a member of Wealthy Affiliate, and you see successes pretty often there. At least a few new sales a day. It really helps being able to pick Travis' brain. I found this site the other day. www.wealthyaffiliatereviews.net Which has a ton of bum marketing success stories from wealthy affiliate. Not my site. Also there are numerous Squidoo lenses that discuss bum marketing. But, honestly best place to hear it from the horses mouth is Wealthy Affiliate itself.
I use article marketing with good success, just make sure you use unique articles for each site and have a large list of publishers for maximum effectiveness... Here is a small study done with only ten articles that did bring in sales over at http://www.thekaizenbusiness.com/?p=174
Bum Marketing works alright. Write articles only after you have done your keyword research. Your keywords should have a high number of searches and low competition on Google. Also, don't neglect the low number of searches as well, you can target those as long tail keywords in your articles as long as the competition is low. If you submit to article directories, make sure that Ezine Articles is one of them. They are top in my opinion for article directories at present...
Depends on niche markets/ keywords. You must grab top ranking at Google for particular keywords in order to make sales.
Where do you do your keyword research because I find it hard to do keyword research for long tail keywords. I just look at the number of competition.
If you are looking for free keyword research, some good tools to use are Digital Points keyword research tool and Wordtracker's free keyword tool. There are also those who use Google Trends. Some pay for keyword research services like Wordtracker, Keyword Country or for softwares like Keyword Elite. These have more features like competition, KEI, Keyword Ratios, etc.
Bum marketing works; it's actually the foundation of the internet. So if bum marketing doesn't work; then the internet officially sucks Just write. Write every single day. Atleast one article. Write on several niches that interest you. You'll eventually become addicted to it. If you focus on one a day - it will probably turn into 2 a day. You'll flip that into 5 a day then maybe 10 a day If you're super fast, you might try and pump out an insane amount - 20 a day! *gasp!*
Thank You for that motivational tip. I can write a few article a day in the known niche. The apprehension is only in the conversion rate since i am already getting quite a lot of hops.I still wonder about those affiliate gurus ,who make thousands a day. The dividing line is too thin. We didn't strike the bull's eye so far. It is true with any money making idea.
Article marketing works, I've had success using blogs but not so much directories. I'm hoping to change that soon with the new techniques I've discovered. I'm working on perfecting a way to get ranked in Google within 15 mins or less for certain phrases...
Guru's make thousands a day because they do what you do; except on a huger scale. - So while you bum market and refer products - they probably outsource their labor, create content empires, and create their own products.
I agree with emon878. I wrote just one article, and it gave me over $2,000 in sales in about 6 months time. I have moved on from ClickBank so I can reveal my secret. I sieved through ClickBank for an interesting product. Read the sales pages of all such ONCE each to determine which had the selling potential. I narrowed it down to one- how to be funny. It was appealing to all kinds of audience, had a low gravity and a phenomenal sales pitch. Wrote the article, and promoted it at article directories and mainly wiki (used a domain redirect on my site via author page). And, that sure was one of the best articles i have written, money wise. EDIT: Here is the product aff page: http://www.howtobefunny.net/affiliate.htm .. by the way i later found bum marketing to be better actually for physical goods so I have moved on to amazon affiliate now... good luck with clickbank anyway.
How do you determine what is an interesting product. What criteria do you use to determine the required results. Is it all . . . in the eye of the beholder !!! Be seeing you
