Can anybody recommend the best shopping cart software ?

best ecommerce platform can only be selected according to your business requirement , because each platform cater different needs

Zencart is a good shopping cart software.

 

I'd go for zencart as well. But try to match it to your specific needs, each of us may have something different in mind when recomending a software.

 

I prefer prestashop, zencart (with magic seo module) or easy php quick.cart

 

i prefer Opencart, because it's not complicated. It is easy to use.

 

Hands down the best is VP-ASP. not very well know, but has amazing functionality combined with ease of use. If you are just looking for a free version then zen cart has always been a good option.

 

You need to tune zend a bit and or the server but Magento is killing everything else. Oscommerce is complete crap these days.

If you need something really fast and easy to use without the marketing features Magento offers check out prestashop. It has about a 2 second learning curve.

1shopping cart...hands down the best, and their customer service is excellent as well.

 

i using zen cart (zen-cart.com), the outlook seem not attractive for me, but you are able to customize the templates and you can get the free templates (i-tech.com) as well.

 

Prestashop is best shopping cart software.

 

Os commerce would greatly help you . Advanced works consider , magneto or building your own stuff .
Also do search delicious.com for open source carts , you may get something of help .

 

I rate Zen Cart, although I would say that most carts do need a fair bit of work to get them integrated correctly. Don't make the mistake of assuming that they will meet your needs straight "out of the box".

Oscommerce is built on an outdated system - stay away

Magento is what I would most recommend to anyone starting up an ecommmerce site... numerous reasons but basically it is the most professional solution for today's market

Joomla with Virtuemart is great if you have a community based site.

If you are just selling a couple items and don't need a full shopping cart then have a look into PayPal 'buy now' buttons. First build out your site in Wordpress or Modx and just add few lines of code and you're done! This is by far the easiest option out there.

 

Magneto, and PrestShop are the best e-commerce system i've ever see,
I never try them or using it on actual sites. but I do recommend it for you.

 

Viart's the best by far in my opinion. I've used it for a few sites and they are great.
