A friend and I are starting a new business in Las Vegas. I think the web could be a great marketing tool for us. But.....I'm finding that this business of building a page and getting it ranked is a little more than I anticipated. Anybody have some guidlines to help us get going?
you have to learn seo. i think you will find all the information you need here in dp. you just have to browse and search the forum. search for seo, backlinks, pagerank and directories.
you can do the SEO yourself or you can outsource your SEO to people who already know. there are tons of people interested in building and ranking your site for you for $$$ good luck dude, mk
Whoever develops your site make sure you use your major keywords throught out your index page. You need to work on below: 1. Internal links 2. External links 3. Reciprocal Links 4. enrich your content with good keywords. 5. Submit your sites to search engines and directories.. both paid and free. 6. Submit articles and your use your website address in the source. 7. Participate in forums and add your website address in the signature. Join Link Exchange Programs... I have added my site to build-reciprocal-links.com and the results are outstanding.. you can check their success story as well.. i well through that.. and i have joined there affiliate program as well.. as they deserve traffic
If you've got the funding to found a brick and mortar business, hire someone for SEO and pay him on comission for online sales, unless you want to learn SEO yourself.
If you have the money to invest in your business I would suggest an online marketing consultant. Other wise you will waste hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars simply learning.
