Dominated SERP rankings on start easily. I easily had almost 2000 daily visitors coming from Google. But since one month after the change of "Permalink Structure", my website SERPS fell significantly. I can't even see my pages in the near 50 pages . The new pages are almost not even being indexed by Google.

    I have 2500 pages in Web-Index out of a total 4000 pages

When permalink structure changed, Google detected the old 301 redirected pages and the new pages as Duplicate as over 2100 pages when I looked through Web-Master tools. I waited so Google can index and consider the pages not to be duplicate . I also ignored the old pages from Parameters. And easily, Now I have zero pages as Duplicate.

Even now Google does not boost my SERP rankings. My traffic is Zero from Google. All my traffic of about 400 daily visitors comes from Sharing websites. On asking Google Support at Help Forum, they all said my website is not penalized, something else is the issue which they just can't seem to find.

    Any help brothers ?

I even did a Re-consideration request about a month. And about 3 days back, they replied me with this :

Even then my website doesn't appear in SERPS as it should

I just ran a search on your site and it came back with 3,800 + pages indexed.

When you make significant changes to a web site you can expect to have large fluctuations in Google, so changing your permalink structure has probably resulted in this.

Also, there have been a number of changes implemented by Google in recent weeks, so these could also be affecting your website.

How do you know? Just because it isn't appearing in the SERPS as you WANT doesn't mean that Google hasn't put it in how it feels that it should. There is a big difference.

At the end of the day your wasting your time right now, instead of chasing down a reason which you are unlikely to find because you have no penalty and your site is indexed... just focus on building content and links.

Content is what we build daily and Links are what I build through Sharing websites.

I don't know any other methods of doing it . Do you have any good ways of link-building ?

The most effective way of link building in my opinion is interacting with your niche community. Building relationships with those who have similar interests to those of your web site. They are the users who are more likely to link to you without you having to ask them to.

I have about 1 crore emails or more.

I actually don't know how to send them without blacklisting my account.

As far as link building is concerned...Just tell me this? Have you ever bought any links ?? or do you link to any bad neighbours? These things also play a major role whether google penalizes you or not!!

No I have never bought any links.

All I've done is build links from either sharing sites, commenting or Whois info's

Also, let's stick the the point :

What's wrong with my website . Link building is of course Good but no links doesn't stop a website from behaving normally . So let's discuss what could be the issue ?

Also, I am now being listed in Dmoz

What the hell is "doomed" ?

And my website is appearing in Google but it's just that the SERP ranking is zero and no visitors come.

Can you please put more light on this Doom and 6 months ?

Your first problem was changing your permalink structure AFTER google indexed it. Avoid this at ALL COSTS. Especially with WordPress, all the pages originally indexed by google will be broken in most cases.

Old pages are 301 redirected and Google has de-indexed them and re-indexed the new ones too.

So I don't see any problem for them to re-appear ? How do I fix it if they don't ?

    One more thing,

I was using W3 Cache on forum and saw on compatibility check that Open_basedir is ON . On checking what is that I found it has something to do with broken links. Is that a problem ?

I have already stated this once. There is nothing wrong with your site, you have no penalty and your site is indexed. It takes time for Google to reindex a site after you make a significant change.

There is nothing you can fix because there is nothing that is broken.

As for the "doom", thats a load of rubbish.

open_basedir is a PHP setting and has nothing to do with broken links.
