Has anyone purchased Perry Marshall's Adwords and is it good value - for a beginner to medium skill level?
no, perry marshall books are not worth the investment in my professional opinion. The best sources of information are 1. Adwords Help 2. Digital Point read everything adwords has to offer and take the study course to become an adwords professional. If you can pass that test, you will have more information and insight than any perry marshal ebook. Then read lots of forum posts on this site, as many times we go into detailed strategies. Read up on lots of my forums posts, since I give out lots of golden nuggets to campaign management, optimization and strategy. Also read other posts from Masterful and Guyfromchicago... These guys know what they are doing as well... Be cautions on advice from PPC-Coach, PPC-Fool and SpeedPPC as their advice seems to be biased, limited, and many times inaccurate since they only recite ebook recommendations Lastly, find someone who can mentor you and answer your questions
Perry Marshall's Adwords Guide Is A Bit Long Winded But Its O.k. One Of The Best Adwords Guides Around For Newbies Is "Beating Adwords". Its A Good Solid Easy To Understand Guide Packed Full Of Info.
actually, beating adwords is an even worse guide designed by the guys over at wealthyaffiliate. Every member they have is just about lost on adwords and its because of their ebook which is vague and leaves lots of accounts slapped.
I read his stuff awhile ago before the QS issues, and they were ok but I wouldn't spend the money again. Most of the info was stuff you can easily find on these forums or in google help (like mentioned above).
I read one of his book “The ultimate guide to google adwordsâ€. I find it very useful for beginners or those who are not able to profit from adwords. Its more of creating a system to improve your campaigns. There's no secret or get rich quick formula. Its good old try test measure till it produce result kind of thing.
I've been very happy with Perry's products, including the Guide to Adwords. I recommend it. No affiliate link here, either
I have a copy and haven't been too impressed with the content to be honest. I've gained a better understanding of Adwords from actually taking the time to read Adwords help, and if I haven't got the answer I'm after (which I am sure would be there, I just couldn't find it) I have found this forum invaluable.
The Best practice is learn by your experience.. Its also SEO tricks... We can find some tricks in adwords like low cpc, High Avg pos, but no one tell that type of tricks to you. so we have learn by ourself... Good luck
You can buy the actual book from Amazon, which may be ok to get if you are constantly on the go and want something to read. But if not, digital point, adwords help is the best way to go.
Same opinion I'm into internet marketing for 7 years and I really liked to read "The ultimate guide to google adwords" (bought on amazon) I learned a few basic things and it gave me ideas that I implemented with success
I would recommend 'Beating Adwords' too. I know this is being highly unprofessional but last time I looked there was a free copy being handed around in the pdf. files section. Can't say I'm best of friends with the creators of this product (we have a past history) but I don't want to cheat them out of an income. Only mention the free bit if you are really hard up and wanted a great way to start off a PPC campaign. Remember, You didn't hear it from me! D.
