That's news to me. How can a font help you with SEO? Why are those fonts so special, and a normal browser font like Arial will not help you in SEO?

Cabin font is affiliated with Google font directory. So before loading the web page, the content goes to the Google and load it.

Google loves if it finds the Google / Google pages on any website.

GOOGLE LOVE MEANS INCREASE IN WEBSITE RANKING :D :D :D

The top ten fonts for website design might change in order, but for the most part the fonts that make up this list stay the same due to their popularity. In general, the top ten list includes Arial, Frutiger, Futura, Gills Sans, Helvetica, Lucida, Optima, Palatino, Agfa Rotis, and Univers.

Impact, Verdana, Arial. All look nice for different styles.

If we talk about hated fonts, then Comic Sans are in top 1.

You cannot tell the best font because it depends on the application you use.For websites with more content you can use tahoma, times, verdana or arial. For email you can use callibri.

I don't have proof but I had applied this trick on my website and it is now at the very good rank - And I did no more SEO on my website.

Dodger: This is not stupidest - Read the blogs and tricks on the internet you will find that PUT THE GOOGLE ON YOUR WEBSITE IN ANY WAY and you will get the natural ranking...

That is just not true. Show me an article stating that if I "put the google on my website it will get me natural ranking". Either you misinterpreted the article, or somebody is blowing a lot of smoke up your skirt.

And if you believe such a story, what if I were to put the Yahoo on my website. Would I get indexed faster by Slurp? Would I get the natural ranking?

If that is true, what steps did you take for verification? Are you running A/B tests on sites with and without the Google fonts? What kind of proof do you have to support that statement?

You also said that there are articles on the web supporting this theory, where are they? Or is that another piece of misinformation?
