    I just got an infraction. And got my thread deleted.
    Can any moderator review and tell where is the right category for my deleted thread? Because I couldn't fine any better category for it.

    But I was not selling, trading or buying anything with that thread.
    I was requesting forum owners to send me their forum url to put it on my new directory. (nothing in exchange, trade or selling in this thread)
    The thread was directed to new and established forum owners only.
    I posted under categories: Development ->Forum Management(my thread is related to helping with traffic and not selling or exchange)
    Am I supposed to post in [buy, sell, trade] sections this type of thread? even if I am not selling or trading?

    You can't drive traffic to something that doesn't feature in your site.

    You are basically creating a directory (Solicitations and Announcements) to promote (Advertising) other websites and drive visitors to their sites (Traffic).

    Nothing about forum management is discussed.

    sarahk. You are taking a little piece of text from the thread and putting it outside of the context of the thread. That can be done with about anything to justify anything.
    I am not just creating directory, I am creating a service that will use a directory of forums. And yes, it is related to forums, and I think finding ways to bring traffic to forums is part of forum management or not?

    You were trying to provide a service and that belongs in BST whichever way you twist it.
    If you were discussing ways of bringing traffic to forums that would be different.

    I suspect we have to agree to disagree and move on.
