Can any body tell social network site of new york city .... specially site that build for NewYork citizen?

 

Not sure If I understand or not. Are you looking for some sort of script or CMS that will help you build a social network site for new yorkers or an already established social network site for new yorkers to visit?

 

Yes i want established social network site for new yorkers to visit..but first i want a idea ...how many sites available

 

Targeting a specific city such as New York could be very beneficial to users. Not only are you allowing a closed community but it makes it easier for people to connect. I do not know right off hand any social network that targets New York only but I'm sure there are a few that are unheard of.

If you are interested in creating your own network go with a program such as PHPFOX ( NOT FREE ) or Dolphin ( FREE )

Good Luck if you decide to create it. It's going to take a while for it to become popular but once it does it will be well worth it.

Why wouldn't people just using existing social networking sites like Facebook that already have millions of New Yorkers? They can still search for just New York stuff/people if they want, plus they can also network with their friends elsewhere without having to go to a different site.
