    I would recommend GSA Ser as far as software goes it's the only one I've really used.

    I suppose I do use other software for various things, such as rank tracking and all that jazz. But in terms of link building, GSA Ser is pretty economical and does the job.

    If you are planing to do SEO please don't use software for submitting i suggest you to use manually posting seo Google friendly you can use seo tools like Google keyword tools analytic and more.

    Like patco, I'll also recommend building link pages manually. Doing otherwise will only get you penalized. You will have the authority on which directories, links and forums to build back links.

    For analyzing your back links or of your competitors, I use these Softwares(Most of them are SaaS, so you don't need to download them).

    I always do it MANUALLY for sure, I usually hire someone (friend or my neighbor) to do that, so the job will be done well
    If using software, often FAILED to indexing backlink and SPAMMY
