    Start with the Keyword research. Lot of tools are there. I can refer the Google & wordtrackar.
    Create the Meta Tags with your keyword i.e. Title Tag, Description Tag, Keyword Tag, H1, H2, H3 Tags.
    Create the following things -
    ALT attribute
    robot.txt fie
    Descriptive site Map

    Moreover search on Google. Because Google is your friend.

    Meta tag creation,
    H1
    Alt tag
    robot.txt
    link navigation
    Unique web content
    if you want to know more then search in google .

    On page Optimization are following fields has required : Good Title, Specifically mention Meta tag, Keyword and Link Optimization are effective for your On page promotion.

    On page is a process to add your site main keywords to you site ,adding meta tags and putting your keyword on content for better ranking

    1. Check Website navigation and content
    2. Canonical issue resolve
    3. Meta tag creation
    4. Robots.txt creation
    5. sitemap creation

    there is many more works to do in onpage you have to learn it on google.
