Hi all, I just started using google analytics for my website, Being new to analytics can anyone tell me does it show the visitors ipaddress and the time of the visit? Thanks in advance..
It can be made to, and yes. To show the time look under Visitors - go to visitor trending - then to visits, then look above the graph and where it says 'graph by' you can choose Hours Day Week or Month - you want Hour - that breaks down your stats to show you hour by hour how many visits you're getting. The ip address is more complicated, it's not a standard feature, you'll need to set it up as an advanced custom filter, which will involve looking up what the correct regex for it is.
Thanks for all the reply's. I got the concept that we cannot track the visitors ip through analytics.
Hello, we can see the time when some one visited the page, but can we see the time, the specific visitor visited the site? I mean it shows some one visited 1 time from City: London, so can I find out what time that London City visitor, visited my site? Thanks
I have a site in wich the analytic code is in the header that i include. I have one site that have a section of mail. If this mail file don´t have a captcha, an automatic sender of email will change the data of my google analytics? Regards.
