Can an FB app be used to grow local business?

I am trying to promote my business online http://www.handsofeye.com its a massage business combining shaklee products to give overall better health

I had a seo guy say he could improve my business allot more using a FB app that gives customers an offer they have to fill in their info name e-mail etc to recieve the discount on massage

does this exist? and can it do done for less than $300 a month which is what he is willing to offer me his services. I am wondering if it could possibly to viral within 50-60 freinds and get my business running smoothly and not pay him $300 a month to start then go up from there

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

 

i think the app will work but the price is too costly comparing to buying fans.

You can conduct Facebook contest yourselves by requesting the existing fans to invite their friends. From there, you can monitor the growth and recruit the quality fans.

 

Yes I also think the price is too high comparing with other apps, you can get some other cheap apps like this one.
