An interesting question posted by the editors of New York Times on today's edition. If Americans don’t start buying a lot of stuff again, can the world economy be saved? -details
Wow, a combination of overspending connected to extreme borrowing is the root economic reason for the global economic crisis. The epicenter was right in the US. The US needs to correct its borrowing and spending habits and start growing its productive and selling sectors again. Get the Chinese, Indians, and Japanese to start spending.
One should not depend only on America. Target European countries, Asian countries like China which is emerging as a big hub.
Short answer without policy changes that work? No. Long answer without using Austrian Economics? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
