Iam an adsense publisher. Can I join adsense affiliate network. what is difference between these two programs
The Google Affiliate Network was created after the old Adsense affiliate program was canceled. But in a new turn, just this month Google made it a requirement for GAN affiliates to have an Adsense account to get paid, so it looks like it's getting reintegrated into the Adsense program. The main difference is that you stick Adsense ads on your site and you get paid when people click on those ads (or in some cases when enough people view them). The Affiliate program lets you choose to promote specific companies and products, and you only get paid a commission if people click the link or banner ad AND complete an action (like signing up or purchasing something). It requires more work on your part, because you need to select what to promote and have to work to promote those items.
