Can Adsense and AdSense Logger show different stats?

I installed AdSense Logger into my WordPress blog today.

Now when I checked AdSense Logger, it shows 127 clicks at a CTR of 5.05%
But when I checked Adsense, it shows 98 clicks at a CTR 3.5%

The truth is before I installed Logger, there were about 8 clicks already recorded by Adsense. So I was expecting Adsense clicks to be higher than Logger. But the case is reverse.

Can Adsense and Adsense Logger show different stats for the same time period?

Adsense is usually delayed by a few hours. Maybe thats why?

Few Hours? Never knew that. I read some where that the delay is only 20 minutes.

Can someone shed more light on this issue?

I can't seem to figure out when adsense updates. It seems pretty irregular to me.

Now I am sure. There is certainly difference in stats reported. Difference is over 50 clicks now and it goes on.

Wait until there is a full day where both are running, then check the next day to see if there is a discrepency. Then you'll know for sure if its update issues or if they're recording differently.

    that will be the case...

It always is with adsense trackers, they count right clicks, click and drags, and clicks on linkunits, which might not be ad clicks on the result page loaded by the link unit

Also mouse-overs - turn your Adlogger email-notification on and try hovering your mouse over the ad (but don't click!). You'd get an email saying you've clicked your own ad! That scared me the first time. :D
