    Hello,
I need to know is it possible for a domain say abc.com have pr0 when checked for pr while still same domain when checked with www.abc.com have pr5 or higher?

Also if it has pr does the domain have to be in google search, cause i saw few domains for sale which had high rank with www in it wheras nothing turned up on google when done a search, the seller says that it was expired domain , so even though it was expired shouldnt there be a cache for the domain?

    Cheers

Yes. It happens because "www.domain.com" is indexed and "domain.com" is not (by doing a site:domain.com). So you see the PR with the "www" and without it u see no PR i.e PR0

    Edit:
I forgot to answer the second one:
Its not neccessary that high PR ensures a good ranking.
Yes it should show in the google index
do a site:domain.com and if you see its in googles index

Oh the domain doesnt exist in google search so can i assume that the domain is blacklisted (but can a domain have pr if its blacklisted) or either a case of pr hijack has taken place?

Well domain i am talking about is this : ivoirealliance.com

I have no clue why it doesnt show on google, it has following registeration date:

    Created: 25-Apr-2006
    Expires: 25-Apr-2007

Could that be reason? Can expired domain retain their pagerank and would they stay after next pr update?

The website is not stored in Google-Cache or seems to be banned from Google and should be considered "worthless" regarding PageRank it has inherited, even if a PageRank is displayed.

That is what i thought also, so its not worth buying the domain than? And can i not get a site unlisted by google if i tell that it was just recently purchased?

Roger that but how long will it take cause by 1 year the pr would be again 0 :(.

Maybe google should launch a site with all blacklisted domains.

As I had already mentioned if you need it really BAD you can give it a try otherwise there are so many other NOT blacklisted domains out there ;)
