Can a Vendor be his own Affiliate?

Hi guys, another question for the crew here...

I'm currently a Clickbank affiliate, but I may venture forward soon and also become a vendor...Can I be an affiliate of my own product? If so, is there any special registration I have to go through so there's no Clickbank conflict of interest?

I know I could just sell the product myself, but going through Clickbank is a lot more convenient in terms of processing and reputation...

    Thanks for you help!

Wouldn't it just be easier to market your product without any affiliate id. That way it doesn't matter .

I think YES. There is some clickbank rules which states this along with the terms and conditions. but if you will only keep on selling to yourself you will not be eligible to withdraw your earnings for sure.

Well, my thought is that I would save money because Clickbank will provide all the credit card/debit card processing and if I were on my own, I'd have to handle all the payment logistics...

Yeah, just send them to the product page without any affiliate link.

I am sorry, I got your question as "Can an affiliate sell product to himself". Now since I have got it correctly, I will say, Yes, and it is as easy as other freinds have stated here - "Send traffic to the landing page without any affiliate ID, and better without the clickbank hoplink." Since clickbank traces the sales and calculates the percentage of direct sales, so do not use clickbank hoplink when sending traffic yourself.

As a few others mentioned, all you need to do is send the traffic to your sales page without any affiliate ID attached. There's nothing against that.
