Can a site without backlink get google pagerank?

    Maybe in 2001, but NOT in 2009.

    Good content will eventually get you a PR0 but that only means you are indexed. You need backlinks if you want to get PR.

    To what I had learned back links are pretty important to have a HIgh PR and
    rankings on GOOGLE but if you have any good content google will actually give you a PR 0 but it is still not
    enough that's why many site owners are getting back links or hiring SEO's to
    gain such backlinks.
