can a site have more than 500 guest online ??

    well, i keep playing free games.. but when i saw the site again.. i was shocked. more than 500 guest online @ www.game-kut.com

    but the stats shows.. unique visitors 10 :eek:

    541 users online and unique doesnt matter
    not fake but it is the truth in some sense and stats is tweak on how to record

    Most sites have option to "post" a visitor as online for how long regardless if the user has exited the site
    Example: set online time recording to 5 days
    a user visited and he will be recored as 1 online and expires on 5th day
    the user visit anohter page, another visit and expire on 5th day
    longer expire date and accumulation can have more guests online feel

    however on unique visitor wise, it may only be few visitors from diferent ip

    Stats are messed up then.
    Anyway it's not a big thing all those visitors. Many site have much more guests.

    for game site it's possible. it's all depend on how hard they promote they web and how pupolar it is.
