    Well, I just got a backlink (in the post text) from Techcrunch ...and I didn't pay anything...I just wrote an article for them which they published part of it...and Techcrunch is a PR8 site.

    On a more serious note,

    If the PR8 site is HIGHLY relevant to your mmorpg website then that link will be gold! I suggest buying it for a long time if you have the budget to do so.
