LOL i mean to ask , can a person from INDIA buy a webhosting package from 1and1.com(UK based company)?? what do you guys think about them.. How many have seen their latest offers like buy a webhosting service and get upto 5 DOMAINS FREE..

Today is the last day of the offer , so i have to choose real quickly. They also offer 3 months free subscription.so should i go for it??
Will i be able to host forums having the magnitude of atleast 1/10th of DP?? will i also be able to host FREE Image hosting sites , free video sites , etc.. which consume some good amount of bandwidth..They offer 300 GB space and 1200 GB Bandwidth for 4.99$

Can anyone tell me what kind of sites i will be able to host on that kind of a hosting plan please.. ya one more doubt is that , can we host adult sites :D??

If you want to do timepass get a cheap host.

if you want your websites to stay secure and always there on internet without problems go to hostmonster. Hostmonster, hostgator, godaddy.

Always backup your database to your pc too.

search here in dp about the problems of cheap hosting.

That's right. Hosting is the backbone of your website. You might have spent a fortune in designing your site and creating its contents but with poor, cheap and unreliable hosting everything goes waste. Check for some reliable and trustworthy partners in web hosting.

I don't understand why not? Just be carefull because some of the sites out there oversell and they have rubish support.

Friend, just make sure you confirm each and everything from the host since you may get fired for using excess resources.

Normally in shared web hosting, space and bandwidth is not a big deal. The most important factor is CPU and RAM. If your site starts pulling too much CPU and RAM, its quite obvious that the other sites hosted on the same server will get effected. And your host will fire your account.

However, I suggested that you go for a Virtual Dedicated Servers. You can find more information about VDS at http://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/hosting/virtual.asp?prog_id=ruchiedomains

But I am pretty sure that when you are refer to "host forums having the magnitude of atleast 1/10th of DP", image hosting, video etc., you will surely need a dedicated server. For more information on dedicated servers, please visit http://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/hosting/dedicated.asp?prog_id=ruchiedomains
