Can a new administration fix the world's opinion on the US?

Do you think a new administration can help change the world opinion of the US? As it stands I am tempted to put a Canadian flag on my backpack when I travel just to not have to deal with all the anti-American sentiment this administration has created.

As an American who loves to travel, the difference between the 90s and today is amazing. I rarely ran into anti-American sentiment before, but now it is almost impossible to escape.

It can help change it. But honestly, It's going to take a long time to clear up the mess this idiot bush is leaving behind.

I could not care less about the "world's opinion" about the U.S. If the USA is so bad, how come so many are trying to move in here, and so few trying to leave?

Yeah that's pretty much why people hate you.
Probably because there is a lot less chance of having bombs dropped on you if you live there. Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer, isn't that how the saying goes?

You don't have any concern about how the people in those countries feel regarding US policy?

Having followed your posting agenda for a while, and noting the clever passive "questions," you might find this link helpful to your cause.

This one's a bit more radical, but the end desired results are similar.

    Just saying...

Not if they're ill-informed, incurably anti-American, and steeped from birth in the propaganda that their culture is far superior to those uncouth Americans. No, no concern about that.

This is the bit where Gtwat accuses you of being "one of them" WebdevHowto.
Anybody who speaks out against injustice is seen as an enemy of america to this clown.

You may have an "agenda" and so you may assume I have one as well. If I do have an "agenda" it is to hear what people have to say, even if I do not agree with it. I am not here to attack anyone, but to learn from the opinions of others. My "clever passive questions" are not all that clever. They are "passive" because I feel that an aggressive environment does not foster free thinking.

You said you have been to Asia, Canada, and Mexico, do you think their citizens are "ill-informed, incurably anti-American, and steeped from birth in the propaganda that their culture is far superior to those uncouth Americans."

On the other side of the coin would you say that many "Americans" are:

"ill-informed, incurably pro-American, and steeped from birth in the propaganda that their culture is far superior to those non-"Americans"?

I make no apologies for loving America. Likewise, I am respectful towards the two nations of my ancestry — England and Ireland.

You were not able to pick up on that with the references I provided?

Did you know...that if you always answer with a question, sometimes you can keep control of a conversation and put all the effort on your adversary? I do that sometimes myself.

You shouldn't bother. We currently dislike you as much as the rest of them do.

You shouldn't, I love my country and I will not apologize for that. Also, I will not apologize for being a US soldier. What I don't want to apologize for is an administration that uses our countries strength to serve an agenda that is not in the best interest of the American people or the world.

And that, of course, is a subjective opinion. Others feel the opposite, and some don't know what they feel.

I hope you don't see me as your "adversary". I don't feel you are my "adversary". Some of your opinions are not the same as mine and as much as I feel I am entitled to my opinions I feel you are entitled to yours. Even if you don't believe it I am interested in your opinions.
