I think it can balance out between the two. Women tend to be more better in aesthetics, but it can also to apply to men designers as well. I've seen several designers that I assume would have been done by women, but they were done by guys. Same applies the other way around. But people tend to think stereotypically about genders in web design, because professional web design is still done mostly by men. If you look at the more fan-based web designers, then they are mostly all women.

 

Yes. Any girl can become a good web designer. The girl just has to be interested in web designing and have some idea about it.

 

Whether you are a boy or girl it doesn't matter. Some people are good at design and some aren't, but you can get better with practice.

There are more male web designers because females are generally not as interested in computer related things. That's just the way it is, some things will never change

 

I have a son and daughter in law that does web designs as a hobby. She outbeats my son 10 fold. But for them to do something for me is like pulling teeth. My son had taken up a course on it, she not she learned from him and does it so much better.

I suggest graphic design for girls. They can do an excellent job .
I guess Girls can do any job that boys do .

Neither sex is born with anything "special" that gives them an advantage for design/programming. It's all up to the individual and whether they have a good eye for design and have studied and learn about it or whether they have the logic for programming and have also learnt about it.

Bottom line is that you have the exact same potential as any man does, it's up to you as an individual to gain experience and learn about what web design is and how it is implemented.

I just happen to like women who act like the women I grew up recognising as women. And those women just happen to have a tendency to like men who act like the men they knew growing up.

Well I believe that guys, even if they don't have such an artistic sense, they are more into tech, so maybe a team of a girl with good design ideas and a guy programmer would be an excellent thing.

Of course a girl can be a good web designer! I personally (well, not personally) now tons of female designers on the Internet that are much better than tons of males.
