Can a client-side programming language do this?

    Hi,

If this is possible, I am wanting to hire someone capable of doing it.

    Problem:
Need to record the audio of a flash video and produce a dialogue to allow the end user to save it to their PC. This needs to be done client-side with no processing done server-side.

This needs to be doable through conventional client-side technologies. The end-user shouldn't have to install anything new. I'll assume they have Flash/Silverlight installed on their PC.

Any input will be highly appreciated :)

I would think that Java applet can do that...
Or maybe Flash with action script.

You could binary download a flash flv, and re-play the audio all with flash
