For every brand which wants to have it's own place on the overcrowded and highly competitive market, it is crucial to make an impression and out stand among the other fellow brands. Of course being noticed is a good and necessary step, but it’s just the beginning. The more important question really is how after being noticed to transform the isolated interactions with the consumer into solid and long lasting relationship. If companies give more wheight to research of human emotional, conscious and subconscious reactions and on that basis invest in building strong and solid bonds with the customers, they will get into possession of gold mines. After all, if you don't feel connected with your brand you can easily dump it and go on to the next one, but if you feel bonded with it, if you feel it represents who you are, you'll be OK to be disappointed by it everynow and then, and yet continue spending your money on the very same brand. What is your opinion on that? I also have a blog post on that topic and will be happy if you read it and leave some comments. https://brandsolutionsblog.wordpress.com/2012/08/06/brand-relationship-marketing/
