Hi everyone I surely need some advice here . I have that question on my mind for weeks now , i plan on creating a site where i could write daily news about my hometown. As i see it now it's just a leisure , but we never know if i get some success i may try to turn it into something more commercial. That's why i'm wondering , do you guys think it's possible to make it big from a blog ? or is it better to start straight with a website if i have commercial plans Thank youuu ;D
A blog is a great way to start with less cost and effort. It may takes sometimes to build up visitors and get them enough to monetize your site but yes it is possible to make it big from a blog. Try not to come off as someone who just want to make money and actually provide some good content for your reader.
Yeah i think you are right , i should just focus on doing something i like and i can always figure out later regarding on how it goes
Blog is the good marketing tool..You need a less effort for writing a blog..It is a good seo tool used today..
Blog is good method to earn money. Initially you may start from blog and after getting sufficient experience on various aspects relating to it, you can think of developing your own website.
If you are not in need of urgent cash blog is just the way to go. It will give you exposure and a good amount of followers which can be monetized later.
Hi Thayna , Ill give you an example where you can start to make money from it over time (personal experience with www.goalpost.tv ) Selling backlinks Selling Paid Posts Selling Links in posts Using "Link a dink" or similar to sell site-wide post links Affiliate Links ( not so much) Google Adwords Because its home town based - You can get buy in even from others to post for you to promote local business , or Guest blog from local person..
