I was just wondering have any of you make a 1 post blogger blog and actually made money off of it? Like a 1 post review on a product leading to the landing page?

You could also use PPC to send traffic to the site. If the review is good it can make money.

    Hello All,

Its funny that you mention that.

Recently I found this great long tail keyword. But it was kind of obscure and I didn't want to go through the process of developing a site around it until I found out if it was profitable.

So I set up a quick one post blog on Blogger. Pretty simple set up. The post consisted of an article based on the long tail keyword. I do plug a related affiliate product at the very end of the post, and I have two Adsense blocks along the right side.

Took me about 45 minutes total to set up.

I then wrote another article (using the same long tail keyword) and submitted it to Ezinearticles. Usually my articles take about 2 days to get approved. This one was approved in about 3 hours. This was two days ago.

I have done no other marketing for that blog.

Here's my stats so far for the two days my blog has been live:

My article has gotten 126 page views and 69 click thrus (54.8% CTR - not bad).
My StatCounter code tells me that I have received 86 unique visitors to the blog. The difference between this number at click thrus (69) can be explain by either visitors finding my blog outside of EZA, inaccuracy in the stats, or a combination of both.

    Adsense Revenue: $0.89
Affiliate Commissions: $17.53 (1 sale in 15 hops)

Total revenue for two days: $18.42

I plan to keep writing articles and submitting them to EZA. I also plan to create some backlinks to that first article (I really want to take advantage of the awesome CTR). Not sure if I'll create the website yet.

So yes, I think 1 post blogs can be profitable.

    Best wishes,

    JoeMack

P.S. I am new to DP and I love it. I have been hanging out at the Warrior Forum for the last two years. I didn't even know this site existed. Glad I found it.

    Here's an update:

Since I made the last post about 17 hours ago, I have continued to get traffic from the one article I submitted to EZA. I haven't made another affiliate sale, but I have generated an additional $1.49 in Adsense income.

So my total income generated so far in less than 3 days is $19.95.

This is just an experiment that I have put in about an hour's worth of time getting started.

    Best wishes,

    JoeMack

Yes... the best way to make money from just a one post review blog is to use it like a Landing Page and drive traffic to it through methods, whether paid or free.
