I am sure that this has been answered many times but I need to clarify this in my mind!!

I have 1 campaign and a number of different Ad Groups.

In one of my Ad Groups I have some pretty good ctr's but my overall ctr is cr@p!!!

Is this anything to worry about?

Would I be better off putting poor performing adwords into a different camapign OR Ad Group?

Your quality score is calculated at the keyword level...so one or two poor performing ad groups within a campaign will not have a negative effect on the campaign as a whole.

If you are getting a poor CTR on certain keywords within an ad group you may want to try some different ads, or, splitting those poor performing keywords into a new ad group with an ad that's more likely to generate clicks.
