Hello everyone. new to the site here but I must say in the last few minutes just looking around I found a ton of useful information.

Anyway I wanted to ask a question.

I use Google Analytics with my site (zevvo.com - not yet finished). It is a free site and I am looking to track sign ups from partner sites with a specific URL that I give those partner sites. Think (http://www.zevvo.com/source?=bobsite). If a customer clicks on that link and signs up I want to be able to track those signups. I'm not sure if this can be done with Google Analytics, if it can be, please explain how.

If not, maybe somebody has another program that they recommend for campaign tracking that everyone knows about but me. Please let me know.

Hmmm. . The best way I can think of tracking that is to give your partner a different url. Create a .html file using url redirection software from the link below. Make sure you redirect the file to your homepage. Add the code that Google analytics gives you. Name the file partner1.html. This way if somebody goes to your partner's link it will show up as "/partner1.html" in your pages that were viewed.
