Campaign Questions - duplicate keywords

Hello!

If I have the same keyword in 2 campaigns, will they both show at the same time, or would I have to open another account? For example, two different campaigns that require the keyword "TEST" - can I get both ads to show at once?

As far as I'm aware, and I do have some overlapping campaigns, only one shows.

 

What if you run 2 different campaigns on 2 different domains? Is it possible then?

I think that only 1 of you ads is displayed per account per query.

Imagine that you sell 1 product that is triggered by the keyword "Camera"

It does not make sense that if you create different campaings even using different destination url's to have a better chance compared to others to have a click (displaying several of your ads for this same query)

This is why Google prevents you to create several accounts using similar keywords.

 

creating multi accounts is ot in line with tos is it? better check first

 

It's addressed (multiple ads - same keyword - same advertiser) in the AdWords double serving policy.

I remembered that they didn't accept multiple from the same affiliate but is new for me that they do not normally do for the same person.

Also is very interesting that they do accept exceptions for this rule
