Campaign not running though labeled as "active"

Have a campaign. All my kw's are labeled as "active" though none are showing when I search google for them. Campaign started over an hour ago.
I did notice I had to ask for an exception for my ad because google thought I was selling online pharmacuticals even though my site has nothing to do with that. After clicking "ask for exception" and entering my reason I was taken to my campaign summary page where everything looks rosey and it remains that way now. I can only assume that my campaign is on hold until a rep clears the pharmacy exception. If this is the case it's really too bad the user is not informed of this somehow.

I take it google has no message anywhere to let you know that your campaign is not running. One just has to stay confused until they hear back from customer service as to the reason? Thanks.

We've had this on a couple of instances recently. Unfortunately you will need to wait but they will get back to you. :)

Thanks for the reply link happy. Yes, I figured I would just have to wait. Adwords can be a great tool but can also be frustrating when you are gung ho about a campaign, get everything ready and then run into a brick wall like this.

You may want to live chat with Google customer service. Click on "Contact us" after you log in your account. Sometimes the "Live chat" button shows up and you can chat with their representative.

Change your listing catagories to accelerated instead of standard (default). Google tries to evenly display your ads over time based on its estimation of traffic and searches. Accelerated will make them show on every search until you run out of money in your daily budget.

    Good Luck!
