    Hi,

I am relativly new to Google Adwords,I am using adowrds to try to bring traffic to my graphic design website where I offer graphic design services such as Corporate Logo Design,

I have 6 add groups, with around 4 keywords per group,in Total today I have had 1,664 imprssions, and only 18 clicks 90% of which are down to just 1 of my add groups,in total I have spent 6.81 for the 18 clicks.

I wonderd if there is anything I am doign drasticly wrong here?

    - keyword level reports
    - text ad content

... however, you may not want to share this information with the whole world to see (I know I wouldn't!) :)

    ok thanks,

is there a general rule of thumb to measure the productiveness of a google adwords campaign? CPC? Position?

I made some big changes and i'm now getting a CTR of 8.5%

CTR of 8.5% is good. But like GuyFromChicago says, it's all about ROI.

If you're getting a ton of clicks but not making any conversions, then either your landing page isn't up to scratch (not a lot that Google Adwords can do about that) or your ad is attracting lots of clicks from the wrong type of people (i.e not customers!)

I still can't help you without some more concrete information. It all depends on your creatives, the keywords you're currently using, the max CPC, the average position etc etc etc

Can't help without knowing the full story :(
