Hi Guys I'm running an Adwords campaign for a rich friend, we are targeting keywords in the credit and personal finance industry. I'm bidding around £5-£10 a keyword to get on the first page of the search results. We spend about £100 in a hours just at peak time in the evening. I was wondering if people could give me an insight into how much people are spending bidding for popular keywords. I estimate the people at the top of the results must be spending over £100k a month with google if the want to be top for a popular keyword all month. Across all keywords they must be speaning millions!!! Do these figures seem realistic or am I just way out? Any idea's where I should go from here? I need to do some work on finding cheap niches but I'm afraid there will be a lot of competition even then. I found this and thought I might discuss things with a Google rep. http://www.google.com/ads/overview.html Anybody have any experience dealing with Google directly? I'd appreciate your views before making a fool out of myself. Regards, Benson
