Hi, my site is http://www.ezzal.com/ and its related to free online games, funny pictures blog. It got many searches for related keywords in the first month of the date site was built. but now I get very less searches. Under webmaster tools : site linking back : 35,197 , to homepage : 31,841 In webmaster tools : URL indexed : submitted :9,974 indexed :8,157 (this details differs when you type : site:example.com, link:example.com in google) I believe that something is wrong and I tried to submit the site for "re-consideration" few times. Notes : 1.the big paragraph on the homepage , top is added just 2-3 days before.. 2.I didn't spam to get back links, almost all links are relevant and manually got. 3.I was using another script and switched to wordpress just 4-5 months ago.. (most url permalinks are not changed anyways) 4.My site doesn't show up for keyword : 'ezzal' , but shows up for 'ezzal.com' 5.Site got around 4 site links, (when u type www.ezzal.com you can see) 6.Site is in 4,5th pages for some low competitive keywords , but no improvements for long time. Can any SEO gurus help me to find this problem ? Even my new wordpress sites are getting relevant search visitors. So I believe that somethings is wrong.
dont worry, every new site tends to rank high when its published. i think google wants to give us all a chance. after a while your rankings drop. this is completly normal for new sites. try to build some links and continue your normal seo jobs. you will start to see results very shortly
Im not a "guru" but I will tell you this- Your code is decent but I would css more text to top and programatic/script code to bottom. Links are relative which is good, dont see h tags...could use alt tags more- You are competing with some long standing sites for the kw term "free online games". I would optimize more for specific games such as your barbie games, otherwise if its gonna be free online games you want, start a MUCH bigger link campaign, directories et al. Since you have goog analytics- what is your bounce rate? if its high- thats also a potential problem..
In my opinion the top of your page is a classic example of keyword stuffing. This could get you penalized by the search engines, and I honestly feel that it should. This is not how to do SEO, and is considered a black hat technique. If you cannot fit the words on your page in an organic manner, don't add them!
Thanks Both of you were correct, I've added those keywords on the top after long time of doing SEO and getting nothing. Now I've removed them all. Thanks for the replies.
Can someone check the site and confirm if its not violation any big SEO guidelines ? http://www.ezzal.com/ As I can see its getting few searches for inner pages, and the problem is I'm not getting any single search visitors from google for homepage. Thank you.
google rarely shows backlink results in their search engine to reduce spam. search in google for link:google.com or link:www.google.com it will display only 23000 backlinks. but there more than 10 million backlinks.
