What do you mean "not indexed"? http://www.google.com/search?source...LD,GGLD:2005-12,GGLD:en&q=site:www.seoinc.com and http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...LD,GGLD:2005-12,GGLD:en&q=link:www.seoinc.com 33,600 backlinks reported by Google's link: query...
I think he means from the glorious heights of 'seo' and 'search engine optimization' serps. I'd say the fact that yahoo is showing seoinc.com have 13,300,000 links to that domain, compared to seochat's 632,000 which is ranked #1 for seo or submitexpress which has 659,000 in yahoo and is #1 for search engine optimization..... may have something to do with it. Nothing wrong with having 13 million links, as long as it's relative amogst your compeditors in the serps you are chasing.
no, they have about 96 pages indexed but not the home page itself http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=http://www.seoinc.com
It's interesting to look at the top 5 for that term "seo" -- I've never done that before: I'm a bit surprised by #4 and #5: R.L. Rouse and Aaron Wall -- while both are respected individuals, I'd say, I wouldn't have thought they'd rank above a few notable others for that term. It really is all about links and anchor text, isn't it?
Actually, Google lists "about 135" using the site:www.seoinc.com query, including: and which resolves to the same page as www.seoinc.com -- I suppose it is odd that I don't see just www.seoinc.com or www.seoinc.com/index.html or something there but I guess if you have all those other pages pointing back at the home page that'll do it...
NOT an expert here but I did speak with someone at Google before about something like this. In a similar situation they explained (not in these words) but the site was getting filtered and when that happens it will not lose it's PR right away. They lead me to believe that if it continued it may lose it's PR. I don't think the filters care about PR anymore.
I'd expect that they would be profiling the success some of their golden haired clients have had as a result of their services moreso now that they don't have that top position. That's really what their credability hinges on - past client success, not if they top one search phrase or another themselves. Great free advertising though - the fall from grace.
Hi. dominic, you still remember that domain ? It was me who asked about the domain and how I got a PR7. Now I know what was the reason for it. After a week of investigation i could see that the same IP hosts a high PR site that is exactly PR7. This was revealed when i did a search for the domain in yahoo. Then yahoo resolved to the original PR site. ( dunno how that happened, but the site was really hosted on same IP ) Perhaps same thing happening here. Same IP ? Best Regards, Tuning Edit: In yahoo.
wanna know something crazy? I wrote a little pr script in perl and had it run through all my domains... I have 12 more that are pr7.... ehhh anyone looking to buy a pr7 domain that is in the cellphone, computer, mpr3 industry? I mean should I try to sell these or develope them? I can whip out sites pretty quick.
Shoemoney, in my experience this high Pr lasted only until next update, then gone back to PR4. ( in my case it can be the real Pr of domain )
